Live from the latest sorta confusing but kinda cute celebrity relationship stage, it’s Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson!
Yes, yes the rumors are apparently true. On Monday, People reported that the singer and comedian, both 24 years old, “just started” a “very casual” relationship, as some people tend to do after hanging out on the romantic set of Saturday Night Live.
Grande hosted SNL back in March 2016, and some may remember Davidson joining her onstage towards the end of her monologue to ask, “Do you want to smoke some pot or something?”
Pretty kyoot, eh? And the two have reportedly been in touch since.
A source confirmed to People that Davidson was backstage supporting Grande after she performed her new song, “No Tears Left To Cry,” at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards.
“They seemed very lovey-dovey. He was hanging out with her and her friends with his arm around her. She seemed quite smitten,” the source said. And they also might have matching tattoos, NBD.
As for fans? Well, they medium-to-high-key freaked out over the new ship and had some truly hilarious reactions online.

Earlier this month Grande announced that she and longtime boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, had broken up after almost two years of dating. And news of Davidson and his girlfriend of two years, Cazzie David, splitting up was announced just last week.
Will this new relationship last? Who knows. But let us not pass up this opportunity to celebrate a budding casual romance.
